On-grid solar inverter: The output voltage of the solar invertercan be sent back to the commercial AC power source, so the output sine wave needs to be the sing phase, frequency and voltage as the power source. On-grid solar inverters will have a safety design. If they are not connected to a power source, they will automatically turn off the output. If the grid power trips, the on-grid solar inverter does not have the function of backing up power supply.
